The Countess of Warwick’s Show

Following the very popular running of the Rolls-Royce Merlin engine two years ago, P & A Wood will be bringing their own 1918 Le Rhone Rotary engine to run up at various times throughout both days. This particular engine was rebuilt by P&A wood in 1990 to zero time flying condition and has since completed 20 flying hours, flying in the Sopwith Dove G-EAGE. It is a spectacular engine to watch running and we hope that you will enjoy seeing it. Andrew Wood will be running the engine himself and will be happy to talk to people about it if they would like further information.

This year, we have arranged a visit from members of the Veteran Car Club of Great Britain and their cars. These cars date from the late 1800′s and we are honoured to welcome them to our show. They will be with us on Monday 29th August in the Classic Car area on the Manor Lawn. Please do come and see them but please remember not to touch them.
