It was just wonderful to see so many of you amongst the thousands of visitors who enjoyed our Annual Country Show in the sunshine over the August Bank Holiday weekend and of course a very special thank you if you were one of the 100+ volunteers.
We really do need even more helpers as the Show grows, even if it is only for an hour or two. Please do get in touch.
The hard-working Committee is pleased to have another successful Show behind us raising funds for The Five Parishes. When all is counted, we hope to come close to last year’s amazing total of £72,000, to support the historic churches of Little Easton, Great Easton, Tilty and Broxted. Several other charities were also invited.
The Show has been transformed since Andy generously opened all the Manor Gardens with the lawn overlooking his lake packed with visitors enjoying Pimms, music and delicious food in addition to the lawn by the Barn with a collection of classic cars invited by our main sponsor, P&A Wood. This contrasts well with the events on the Rectory side with our traditional stalls, marquees, Animal Tent, Dog Show and activities for children as well as multiple activities in the Arena.
