2021 Show A Delight

Another Show over and the weather feeling decidedly autumnal now.. .

‘Another Show over’ doesn’t really do justice to the event that took place on the 2021 August Bank Holiday weekend.

After having to cancel the 2020 Show and with the ongoing uncertainty over the covid pandemic, we were worried as to how this year would go…would anyone come…would they be able to enjoy themselves…would restrictions and regulations spoil the atmosphere of past Shows..? In the end nearly 8000 came over the two days and many expressed their gratitude that the Show had gone ahead and that they were able to ‘get out’. For several of the stallholders and exhibitors this was the first event that they had attended since before lockdown. A mix of old and new entertainments took place and the opening up of the Manor gardens was hailed a great success.

A huge thank-you to the many volunteers, exhibitors, performers, drivers, cooks, judges, riders and others who made the Show what it was this year.

Also to all of you who came, participated, laughed, listened, watched, admired, ate, drank, queued patiently, won, lost….without you it wouldn’t have been anything!
