Stiff competion and a wonderful display
We were delighted to see so many competitors this year for the vintage tractor ploughing competitions. We had 31 entries across the Mounted Ploughing, Trailed Ploughing and Novice Ploughing competitions. With the top two competitors for Mounted Ploughing getting the same final score the count back system was used to finalise the champion mounted ploughing result. It’s also pleasing to see 4 competitors joining the Novice ploughing competition and hopefully this number will continue to grow each year.
The Best Restored Tractors were a delight to see, with 20 tractors on parade for visitors to admire, compare and discuss with the owners. Thank you to everyone who took part in these competitions.
